Cindy Hughart

Cindy started with CVMC in 2016 as a receptionist, getting to know clients at the door and on the phone. Her enjoyment of the clients and pets she met at CVMC led her to start as a veterinary technician in 2017. She is always happy to help with your pet’s specific needs! You will find Cindy assisting with pet medical histories and exams, monitoring anesthetized pets in our surgery suite, and filling medications at our in-clinic pharmacy, among other responsibilities.

When not at work, Cindy spends time with her husband and two senior dogs while working on their local Hampshire County mini-farm. She has had pets ranging from goldfish to guinea pigs with a small flock of chickens added to the mix. She enjoys small homestead projects, photography, birdwatching, and camping.

Cayla Jewell

Cayla joined the CVMC team in 2019, as a receptionist. She enjoys talking to each one of our clients and helping them with their scheduling needs. Cayla is also cross training as a veterinary assistant.

Cayla has a passion for animals and has grown up always having a family pet. Currently her family pets consist of a boxer named Cannon, three cats named Sig, Lincoln, and Taco; two ferrets named Gilbert and Pip; a lizard named Regina; and last but not least two beta fish. She is very thankful for the job at CVMC because it feels more like a family to her. She enjoys spending time outside of work with her two children, Jayden and Camden. She also likes to read, spend time with loved ones, and just about anything in the great outdoors.
